Golfer with Down syndrome a finalist in People contest

Brad Hennefer, a 20-year-old man with Down syndrome, is a finalist to represent the Philadelphia Phillies in People Magazine’s “All-Stars Among Us.” The contest profiles regular people who work to make their communities a better place to live. Winners will represent their teams at the 2009 MLB All-Star Game on July 14, in St. Louis, Mo.
Hennefer was a high school varsity golfer who started the Golf for Life Foundation with his father, Robert, to inspire young children with Down syndrome to play golf.
