Overheard: Limbaugh jest on Obama, Palin, Down syndrome
September 1st, 2008
From the Chicago Tribune, Rushlimbaugh.com:
Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh mocked Barack Obama Friday with a satiric remark connecting Down syndrome and abortion. Proposing a series of questions that pro-choice Obama might ask Sarah Palin, whose son’s Down syndrome was diagnosed prenatally, Limbaugh said:
“When you found out your baby would be born with Down syndrome, did you consider killing it before or after the due date?”
The punchline initially met with the approval of staff at the Republican National Committee. An internal email, mistakenly sent to a Chicago Tribune reporter, proposed promoting the line in a Youtube clip.
Said an RNC spokesman later:
“A staffer with separate responsibilities made a poor recommendation that was not heeded. The individual has been spoken to and this will not occur again.”

Limbaugh, you disgust me. It is disheartening to see that the twit from the RNC found it funny and suggested it be sent out on youtube for the world to see. Rush, you are a fake and you should be ashamed of yourself.
