It is another example of police abusing their power, and it is time for legislation that would punish these criminals cloaked in blue. The lieutenant's response defending this overeager and reckless detective is typical. Cops always defend cops ... The Thin Blue Line Wall is alive and well in Bloomfield Hills. I feel for this family and for others who will be tormented; if action is not taken to prevent gross misconduct by police officers. I fear we will have many more victims such as this poor innocent family. This is an outrage.
