Fox’s Janice Dean says she has multiple sclerosis

March 10th, 2008

From Fox News:

Janice Dean, a weather forecaster on the Fox News Channel, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis two and a half years ago. She said she chose to discuss her condition this week because it is National MS Awareness Week.

She believes that with a positive attitude she and others can beat this disease.

“I really don’t want to be the poster girl for this disease,” she said. “But I do want others with it to know that they are not alone. There are others out there that are just like them going through the same thing. And my life is fairly normal. I just have a few little obstacles that I have to deal with.”

Any info on Janice Dean would be greatly appreciated. I keep expecting to see her each day, as I am a Fox Fan (Fox is on in my home from the time I arise until I retire in the evening). Did she give birth, and why has she not returned? She’s a special woman and I really miss her. Thanks for any info

I am searching for information about Janice Dean, the Fox news weather forecaster, who last appeared shortly before she was due to give birth some months ago. I waited to hear the happy news of the birth to no avail. Can you let me know what transpired to prevent her return? She was a deliight to the news scene. I am hoping that no tragedy befell her family.

Any information you can supply would be greatly appreciated.
