Parents threatened with jail time over kids’ vaccinations
November 19th, 2007From the Associated Press in USA Today:
Parents of students in Prince George’s County, Maryland, face up to 10 days in jail if they do not get their children vaccinated. The order by a circuit judge came after school district officials realized that more than 2,000 students had not been vaccinated.
While the medical consensus is that vaccines are safe and effective, some people blame immunizations for a rise in autism and other medical problems.
