As the daughter of a dentist and as the sister of a woman with Rett Syndrome, I struggle with the idea of finding a dentist who is "a good listener and is comfortable with children with disabilities." Undoubtedly these attributes are vital in a dentist, but the fact that not all dentists meet that description is extremely disturbing. If people were more educated about disabilities and less judgmental, perhaps the world would be a more pleasant place to live.
